SNEYD STRIDERS PUDDING RUN
SUNDAY 10TH DECEMBER 2017
Good evening, we are sorry that we have been quiet since Sunday.
we are working with the venue and stuweb to formulate a best response for all entrants.
We will be issuing a statement Saturday evening.
Thank you for your patience and support.
With deep sadness and regret, we have decided to postpone the Sneyd Striders Pudding Run:
Our optimism to be able to facilitate a safe race, has faded over the last 12 hours. The current weather conditions, with an amber warning of heavy snow from 5am – 9am for Sunday morning has lead us to this difficult decision.
Runner’s safety is paramount to Sneyd Striders and we have taken on board that other local races/parkruns have been also postponed or cancelled.
Our aim is to postpone until January (With 21st as the proposed new date). Please keep this date free in your diary, as NO refunds can be given. All race numbers/runners details will remain the same for the rearranged date. We will offer to transfer names, to those unable to attend the new date. Further information to follow. THANK YOU for your understanding and continued support.
Welcome to Sneyd Striders Running Club. The club was formed in 1984 by John & Rita Pedley from New Invention, and has been going ever since.
Sneyd Striders has been based at its current location since its inception, offering a running club for the local community & beyond.
The clubs ethos remains as it always has, to offer something to all standards of runner, and to promote togetherness by offering a number of social events and organised trips to races.
We cater for all abilities, although you must be 18 or over and able to run 5km to join the main group. There are always club members available to run with, so there is no need to run alone.
We also offer a Beginners course during the year. If you have any queries then please get in touch via our email or Facebook page.
