Sneyd Striders is a running club founded in 1984 by John & Rita Pedley from New Invention, and has been going ever since.
The club strives to offer something to all standards of runner, and to promote together via the aid of social events and organised trips to races.
Sneyd Striders meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Tuesday: 6:45pm for a 7pm start. Tuesday is group nights with several routes from 4.5 miles upwards.
Thursday: 7pm this is a training night where all members run together.
Our club runs always start from the Sneyd Community Association, Vernon Way, Bloxwich, Walsall, WS3 2PA.
Every year in December, Sneyd Striders host their annual Pudding Run.
The provisional date for 2018's Pudding Run is Sunday 9th December.
Sneyd Striders run beginners courses at certain points of the year. Keep an eye on the web site for when they begin.
We offer runners four weeks to run with us before they become a Strider. Member runs from April - April and costs £30 which includes your England Athletics
