Running Injuries.
Running like most physical sports inevitably involves the risk of injury. The aim of this section of the web site is to follow the maxim ‘prevention is better than cure’ and to provide a forum in which runners can share their experiences with the aim of avoiding the frustration and sadly, sometimes permanent damage that injury can cause. Our aim is to describe the common running injuries and to suggest how they may be minimised or avoided by the use of effective clothing and shoes and by the choice of suitable training regimes and exercises.
